This class is ideal for those who are new to yoga or power yoga or advanced practitioners that want to strengthen their practice. Basic postures and sequences are taught to ensure correct alignment and safety. Students will learn to participate at a healthy level based on their unique needs. Raffa Restorative Yoga is a non-vigorous deeply calming practice. It uses blankets, bolsters, pillows and various props to completely support the body in basic yoga postures with no muscular effort. Yin Yoga applies moderate stress to the connective tissues, tendons, fascia and ligaments of the body. The aim is to increase circulation in the joints, while improving flexibility and inner body awareness.

This 75 minute non-vigorous floor based class focuses on passive stretching, longer holds and the assistance of props, bolsters and blankets. This unique style of yoga promotes healthy joints, good digestion and clarity of mind. Raffa Therapeutic Somatic Movement is a non-vigorous floor based class focusing on sensory motor muscular re-patterning. In this class learn to gain awareness of sensation and motor control using a safe, gentle common sense approach to reverse chronically tight muscles that develop in common chronic muscular conditions.

This process of sensory motor training moves the body so the neuroplasticity of the brain remembers how to relax. Excellent class for those rehabilitating from injuries, conditions of anxiety or yoga practitioners looking to create a deeper joint space, while opening the body. Gestational Yoga, From Conception to Delivery is a class designed to improve the fitness level of pregnant women, preparing their bodies for the final labor experience. The premise is that a fit pregnacy will improve the overall pregnancy and labor experience and will reduce pregnancy related complications.
