We suggest you come in comfortable clothes. FUNdamentals, Suspension Fitness, Aerial Yoga and Pilates, this class will challenge all sensations: flexility, agility, stability, mobility and strength. Fundamentals offers the benefits of decompression from inverting the body, along with building strength, conditioning, advancing agility and coordination, as well as deep stretching and massage of muscles, tissue and the body’s spirit!
Benefits include the increase of muscle flexibility and strength, joint mobility, hydration of vertebral discs, a deeper state of inner awareness, and an increase of self-esteem through conquering basic fears. Suspension Fitness This class will literally turn your exercise upside down! Hammock, you will be safely flipping, inverting, and flying! Increase your kinesthetic awareness for better agility, build core strength, elongate muscles and get a low-impact cardiovascular workout, and believe me, you will discover new muscles in your body! Cocooning class, you’ll be wrapped in the hammock where gentle movements will prepare you for deep relaxation to clear your mind and deeply rest and relax your body. The Levitating Meditation, whether done as a post-workout recovery or as a well-deserved break from the grind, is sure to leave you feeling revived, rested and energized! Just Kids is a dedicated series where kids can build skills over the course of time: strength, confidence, presence of mind, coordination, and a beautiful connection to and joy within their own bodies, all while experiencing the sensation of flight.
Youth Hip Hop A high-energy class that focuses on the foundations of different classic Hip-Hop dance styles such as breaking, popping and locking. This 10- week series will introduce you to both choreography and freestyle. Students will have an opportunity to showcase what they have learned through a culminating performance at the end of the session. Sessions are offered for 2 different age groups. Children’s Karate and Self Defense This amazing Karate and Self defense class is taught by Black Belt Instructor Jennifer Lake of Comprehensive Survival Arts Martial Arts and Wellness School. Students will improve flexibility, strength, focus, agility, coordination, discipline, memory, and more.
The class is taught in an age appropriate manner, starting with basic techniques, giving them a great workout filled with FUN! Pacific Islands combined with Reggae and Hip Hop music. This class isolates your larger muscles groups, increasing strength and definition to your core with specific emphasis on the abs, glutes, quads and arms. Intro to Hoop Dance Hoop Dance is an evolving art and fitness practice that will transform the body and ignite self expression. We will be using adult sized hula hoops to stretch, dance, and become more aware of how our bodies move. It is a fun way to de-stress and tap into your inner child through playfulness and movement. Nia Nia is a sensory based movement experience that blends 52 moves with 9 movement forms of the dance arts, martial arts and healing arts.
Nia offers you the choice to move towards pleasure and self-healing and away from pain. Gentle Nia A gentler form of Nia, Gentle Nia offers easy-to-follow moves for the whole body. This class is designed for new and returning students, students with special physical considerations, and anyone searching for a more gentle class. Gentle Nia is taught at a level one, the most intrinsic, close-to-the-body movements, with an emphasis on breathe, balance, and healing for body, mind, spirit, and emotions. Nia Move IT Move IT is a new and unique approach to cardiovascular interval training. The class is based on Nia Technique’s 52 Moves designed to bring conditioning to every body part, muscle group and joint in a 60 minute experience.
Move IT classes are distinguished by somatic coaching, sequential intervals that isolate and integrate Nia movements and choreography designed to deliver 4 types of conditioning: aerobic, anaerobic, reflexive and voluntary. Adult Hip-Hop A 60-minute, high energy class that introduces you to Hip-Hop dance, including foundational forms such as breaking, popping and locking. The class includes a full-body warm up, learning Hip-Hop dance choreography, as well as an opportunity to students to express themselves through freestyle, which is your own improvisational movements. GROOVE Groove is the world’s easiest dance class. Amazing music, simple moves, and the chance to dance like no one’s watching! Join us on the DANCEfloor for a great workout, and a great time.
Fitness Jumping Fitness is a trampoline-based class that focuses on interval training for a whole body workout. The 45-minute class offers fun, high-energy music, and it allows you to go at your own pace to positively impact your overall health and fitness. Creative Energy Flow Stimulate your mind, body and spirit, with a creative original flow practice. The energy shifts in the universe daily, and this blend of yoga is in the moment. Expect to breathe, sweat, and enjoy spirituality on your mat in this fast-paced class.
Some yoga experience is suggested, but not required. This yoga class counteracts daily stress and restores balance to the body and mind. Classes include vinyasa flow, restorative yoga and meditation to leave students feeling blissful and balanced. Detox Flow Come to your mat for a 60-minute detox flow to make space between what is behind and ahead of you. Through lengthening, decompressing and twisting, we will rid the body, mind and spirit of impurities. Use this practice as an opportunity to create a week full of deep connection and clear intention.
We will slowly build heat in the body, as a means of dissolving old stagnant energy as well as to set our intentions in motion. Flexibility Flow This challenging vinyasa class will help you achieve the strength and flexibility necessary for inversions and arm balances. Link your breath and movements as we flow through dynamic transitions with grace. Leave your ego at home, and embrace the process as we explore new poses and have fun in this workshop-style class! This class offers more advanced sequencing, and yoga experience is highly recommended, although a range of modifications will always be given. Restorative Yoga Restorative yoga is a practice which makes use of various props such as blankets, blocks and bolsters to support the body in poses that are held for minutes at a time, facilitating deep relaxation and rejuvenation on the cellular level. Your body and mind are given a chance to heal and harmonize, and you are left with a sense of profound well-being.
