We arrived to this hotel late and the check in was simple.
We were taken to our room and all I could think was WOW! It exceeded any room I have had in Mexico and I’ve stayed in some amazing resorts! We went for a late dinner at the main restaurant and it was good breakfast buffet was great the next morning. We booked The Reef 28 because we were looking for a hotel that was centrally located in Playa del Carmen but we also wanted an all inclusive.
The room was a good size and the roof area where the pool is has an amazing view. The service at the hotel is the worst service I have ever received at an all inclusive hotel. We are MEMBERS with The Reef companies. We were invited to upgrade from staying at Reef Cocobeach to stay at Reef 28. We went to 28 to check it out and see if we wanted to move. We barely made it in the door when we were met by staff and asked why we were there.
