The Sixth Street Viaduct over the Los Angeles River between Downtown Los Angeles and the Boyle Heights neighborhood was the starting line of The Amazing Race 15. The fifteenth season spans eight countries in 21 days. All route markers and clue boxes in Vietnam were colored yellow with a white stripe rather than the typical yellow with a red stripe to avoid confusion with the flag of the former independent state of South Vietnam.
Lisa Paskel, who were eliminated at the Starting Line, acknowledged in a post-race interview that they were the first team to leave the show voluntarily instead of spending the remainder of the Race at the Elimination Station, as they had previous plans to travel to India. Herbert «Flight Time» Lang raced again in The Amazing Race 18 among a cast made up of returning teams from seasons 12-17. Big Easy were also chosen to compete in the second All-Stars edition.
